We are developing a mobile application called "AVA-PD," which utilizes AI-based video analytics to assess and track motor function in Parkinson's Disease (PD) patients. This application can be used on any smart device, such as a tablet or smartphone, using their existing cameras and processing power. The primary advantage of AVA-PD is that it offers non-intrusive and cost-effective monitoring of motor functions with high precision and low subjectivity. It's designed to protect users' privacy and is specifically designed to be user-friendly for older adults and their caregivers.
